The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really happening.
